Stylish but Uncomfortably Tight Leather Shoes

These leather shoes have a sleek and stylish design that caught my eye, but unfortunately, the fit is extremely tight and uncomfortable. I was hoping they'd break in with wear, but even after several tries, they remain stiff and pinch my feet. They look great, but comfort is seriously lacking. If you’re considering these, be prepared for some discomfort.

Comfortable, fashionable,unique shoe. Quite the talking point. I don't recommend the shoe to people who are not cool. They can wear Crocs.

Great Design, Comfort Not So Much

Great looking stylish shoe that can be worn with anuthing. Looks really great but when it comes to comfort, sadly this shoe needs some work. The back of my ankles get chaffed and rubbed raw after an hour of wearing the shoe, I have to wear socks that go past the shoe in order to not get hurt and secret socks just slip off my feet in these shoes, my other vellies it never happens in but in these, its another story.

The shoes looks great, but I find the fit hard and unforgiving and not as comfortable as I hoped for. Hopefully the leather uppers will soften over time.

I understand the hype! Veldskoen has amazing customer service and makes amazing shoes and I can vouch for that after a rollercoaster experience. After buying a Jbay blue veldskoen shoe from Cape Union, the size was incorrect against the cape union sizing chart and Veldskoen stepped in to help even before I knew I could buy from the directly. I returned the Jbay Veldskoen shoe wanting the sneaker instead. If you're ordering the shoes- Jbay etc, use the sizing chart to get your perfect fit. If however you go with the sneaker like I did, get your actual US size in the UK sneaker size- I'm a US 8 and I ordered a UK 7 sneaker which was way too snug, the size 8 is perfect. Even after wearing them, when Veldskoen heard they were uncomfortable they offered me a free exchange for a size 8, no fuss no hassles, even though I had worn them for a short while and tried to see if the size 7 would become comfortable over 2 or so days. This really speaks to the amazing customer service. Today I received my size 8 white sneaker and I can vouch for the comfort and build quality of the Veldskoen sneaker: The leather is soft and comfortable. The shoe feels like a slipper. A little tribute to the sneaker: I've been in it all day and it just keeps feeling even comfier if that is even possible. Brilliant shoes, amazing customer service. Throughout my experience with Veldskoen I've been telling everyone about them, even before getting my sneaker today. Now these awesome sneakers will speak for themselves. I will also be buying the Jbay shoes in the correct size in the time to come.
